We are approaching a new ice age. Today's warming will help hold it off for a few hundred years. How do you know that warming wont benefit us?? People are using less oil and natural gas for heating so its a self correcting problem. The real problem is middle class growth across the globe. Middle class buys a ton of plastic products and big houses all built using diesel and other fuels.

What is a woman? What right do they have to a unique baby with different DNA? We lost the rule of law under Biden allowing unvetted, un assimilated hoards of illegals to set up shop all over the country and paid for by taxpayers. Democrats want fair wages but complain when the second class citizens (underpaid) food pickers are deported making their groceries rise. Nobody is getting the covid vaccine anymore so the majority are not fooled by big pharma push for every booster. America has been fleeced by the world and its definitely time to stop funding everyone just so they can abuse us more.

We dont want everything covered in solar panels that only produce 5 hours of energy and distribution cables everywhere. We want trees and Nuclear plants that produce massive power in a small location. Solar makes sense in the desert however because lots of sun and nothing grows there anyways. But people have an 'all or nothing' greed mentality that will push our taxes to be spent in really bad ways.

Comment Re:Protectionism holds EVs back in the US (Score -1) 247

Nobody is getting left in the dust. Americans want gasoline vehicles and are happy with them. Americans have money and gasoline is a very small percentage of income. I spend 750 per year on gas which is less than 1% of my income so why do I even need to consider an EV?

Comment Re:America wants to go backwards (Score -1) 247

What is the rush to EVs? They still cost 30% more than the exact comparable vehicle. Which EV is comparable to a Honda Ridgeline, Toyota Tacoma, or 4Runner? And people who buy a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord (Hybrids) get like 700 miles per tank. They buy those for driving a lot of miles they dont want a charging headache. That 30% savings can be put in the Sp500 or can pay for years of gasoline. In many states you have to pay $200 extra registration every single year no matter how many miles you drive. Also insurance rates are higher because not many body shops deal with EVs yet. Battery technology is improving so what is the hurry?? I spend $750 per year on gasoline its less than 1% of my income so what is the rush?? Also electricity prices are skyrocketing due to AI and crypto mining. Gasoline has been steady

Comment Re:Pebble Time 2 (Score 0) 20

Garmin Instict 2 lasts 28 days and has solar supplemental charging. I dont even bring a charger to my vacations. It is a smart watch also gets texts messages and notifications. Also great for sports and golfing. The pebble was awesome at the time but Garmin is probably better in every way.
