He suggests that like in the early twentieth century, ethics based on flawed positivist views of science can lead to danger and atrocity–where once it supported eugenics now it holds up torture, "collateral damage", imperialism and (anti-) religious war. "He [Sam Harris] may well be a fine neuroscientist. He might consider spending more time in his lab.""
