I know this is a pro linux site( though why you have to be anti-MS to be pro-linux is beyond me. And how anyone over the age of 16 can get all worked up over a OS to the point of thrashing all others is also beyond the thinking of any sane adult) MS has released an annoucement about a MAJOR overhaul of IE here- http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb; en-us;Q834489 God forbid this should make a slashdot article however news worthy. It seems to me to fall under the banner of "news for nerds, stuff that matters" but i guess not. i'm not pro MS or linux or netware or whatever. I'm just a network engineer who has to work with these products to make a living. and from that standpoint this is pretty major news and something MS should be given kudos for. Have some objectivity.It seems to me that most posters to this site don't actually work with these products but just tinker with them over sips of jolt cola in thier parents basement otherwise no sane adult would get into these "my operating system is better than yours" wars. Its a product, thats it. wheter linux or windows or solaris or whatever. MS has made a lot of mistakes and will continue to do so, but give credit where its due. and grow up, get a girlfriend/boyfriend and a job and relax for chrissakes. a little objectivity wouldn't hurt ethier.
