The lunar module got off the moon with not much thrust at all, look at the size of it compared to the whacking great rocket that got them there...

Doesn't take all that much to escape the moon actually, you don't need a rocket the size of one required to get off earth...

Aiming, fair enough though.

Comment an IP address is not reliable evidence. (Score 1) 150

This has the usual problem.

It assumes an IP address can be traced to a particular user and only that user, this is not the case,

There could be openwireless.org nodes, Tor exit nodes, proxies, malware, badly secured/open access points or god knows what else.

The idea that an IP address is evidence of identity of the downloader has always been problematic at best.

You're absolutely right.

I must say Einstein was by no means perfect though or right about everything (though he was one of the greatest minds the world has ever seen, I /might/ compare Hawking to him for example but there's not many who would measure up).

1: Called the cosmological constant 'his greatest blunder' but it turned out he was right all along
2: Refused to accept QE calling it 'Spooky action at a distance'

That said, when he said 2 I think he'd been boning Marilyn Monroe for a while so his mind was likely mostly on other things -.o;

It's a private company. While it may be that the government spies on what's going on with peoples use of it (Okay, post Snowden I don't need to hedge, they are) that is not Google's doing or exclusive to that particular company even. Calling it a government spy apparatus seems a touch unfair. Is Facebook? Twitter?
