Please take a look at Tomcat 3.2.1 or better wait Tomcat 3.3 and we'll speak again about speed. If you're a Linux Redhat users, installing Tomcat and making it run is no more harder than : rpm -Uvh tomcat.... /etc/rc.d/init.d/tomcat start And there is also Apache connectors in RPM, rpm -Uvh tomcat-mod... Tomcat is ASF, and is supported by Sun team...
