So the 3 front-runners for the Republican nomination have some serious problems getting elected (best case, Romney, still has 1/4 of Republicans who won't vote for him based on his religion). For me it looks like it is time to finally vote Libertarian - I don't have the usual excuse of "I'm throwing my vote away for somebody who won't get elected" because voting for a Republican looks like the same thing this time around.

Seriously, I'm a Mormon Republican and even *I* don't want to vote for Romney.

Another report referenced by the article suggests the new model could come with a different case design. 'Quanta and Apple already enjoy a strong relationship, with Quanta building both MacBooks and iPods for Apple to sell worldwide, although Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry) is reported to be building the first batch of iPhones due to arrive in the US market by the end of June. Reports suggest Quanta has received an order for 5 million iPhones which are to be shipped in September ... Presumably this could entail a 3G or even 3.5G HSDPA iPhone for European markets due to get the iPhone by the end of the year, or even the addition of more memory - imagine a 16Gb or even 32Gb iPhone, unlikely though those will be this year mainly due to the high cost of 16 or 32Gb of flash memory.'"

He takes stock of the denial-of-service attack against the Baltic nation of Estonia, and considers the somewhat disturbing wider implications from the event. 'You look around the globe, and there's basically no limit to the amount of skirmishes between well-connected countries that could get incredibly emotional for the population at large. In this case, it has disrupted the Estonian government's ability to work online, it has disrupted a lot of its resources and attention. In that respect, it's been effective. It hasn't brought the government to a crippling halt, but has essentially been effective as a protest tool. People will probably look at this and say, That works. I think we're going to continue to do this kind of thing. Depending on the target within the government, it could be very visible, or it could not be very visible.'"

Many website developers will agree, that putting information on a site, which will give info about developer becomes more and more problematic nowadays. Above mentioned info might be image or simple text link addressing to developer's homepage or e-mail. Reason of this problem is clear: many of clients don't want some kind of links or images on their site and I agree with them, it looks unpractical and often it doesn't fits design. So have no way back, developer puts "info" in HTML using META Ta

The investigation is in response to privacy group concerns over the amount of information Google will have available to it via its ad service and DoubleClick. Between a few days and a week from now the FTC should either declare the all clear, or elevate the process to a 'second request' stage. That would indicate more serious issues the federal body has an interest in. Google stated it was confident the purchase would hold up under scrutiny. 'In the complaint, the groups noted that Google collects the search histories of its users, while DoubleClick tracks what Web sites people visit. The merger, according to their complaint, would give one company access to more information about the Internet activities of consumers than any other company in the world.'"
