I'm not sure if the *very tiny fraction* is accurate. Most of my SACDs are 2-channel hybrid and multi-channel hybrid. I know Sony has -- up until now -- only released single-layer SACDs (with the exception of one hybrid sampler they commissioned Groove Note to produce for them). Red Rose (a small label run by Mark Levinson) also releases single layer SACDs. But most of the other labels (Telarc, Linn, Chesky, and more) are releasing hybrid format SACDs to the best of my knowledge. Though you *could* be right, I'm not sure that you are. I don't think it's a *tiny* fraction if it's a fraction.
