I have a question about Star Trek.

In both the tee vee shows and the movies, they often transport people and objects to and from spacecraft with transporters.

When they are fighting Klingons, how come they never transport an a-bomb into the bridge (or some other vulnerable point) of the opponent?

Captain Kirk was never known for his exceptional intellect. Spock is the smart one, but he's too politically correct to point out Captain Kirk's shortcomings.

In "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan", Kirk was reported to have been the only one to beat the "Kobayashi Maru" wargame scenario, because he hacked the program itself to make it possible to win. The implication was that he was the only one smart enough and motivated enough to do so.

This is true, but it doesn't prove he was smart, only dishonest.
