Apple shouldn't replace intel on the macbook pro or other machines that professionals need. No matter how well their x86 emulation works, someone will probably have issues running their mission-critical software. Instead, they should release a macbook SE with arm chips to go after the $1000 market for people who don't need a macbook for more than writing papers and watching youtube videos. Replacing intel across their whole line seems like they're setting themselves up for failure.
