hasanabbas1987 writes: "So what if you can catch a glimpse of the closest supernova astronomers have discovered in the last 25 years, would be cool yes ? All you need to do is get yourself a small telescope or a pair of binoculars (some DSLRs would do just fine as well). Astronomers think that they may have found the supernova within hours of its initial explosion on August 24. Generally, supernovas are around 1 billion light years away but this one is only 21 million light years away, so Han Solo and Millennium Falcon should do the trick as long as they don’t say “No Light Speed”. The supernova is in the Pinwheel Galaxy and you can see it within the Big Dipper."

According to Casey this is the only one of its kind and even Bruce Wayne would’ve been proud of his work. Internal mods include an iPad in the dashboard which serves as an avionics system and GPS coordinates."

And this height of friendship was achieved by a woman in Netherlands who got 152 friend’s display pictures of their Facebook profiles tattooed on her arm. Its a good thing that she only had 152 friends on her social network, imagine if she had like a 1,000 friends. Funny thing to notice here will be that what if she deletes one of her 152 friends. Maybe a big “X” will be tattooed on that particular person’s tattoo."

hasanabbas1987 writes "Touchscreens have been with us for quite some time now and we have seen all kinds of them: resistive touch, capacitive, multi-touch, etc. However, Nokia's research lab in Tampere, Finland has developed a rather unique kind of touchscreen: a touchscreen made of ice. Well, to be honest, it's not really a touchscreen for everyday use, nor is it very portable, as the rig includes a projector and some infrared cameras (PDF) which are connected to a computer, but after all it's a touchscreen made out of ice and that is quite remarkable. Nokia says this 'playful experiment' reveals that interactive touch displays can be built anywhere, and we are very sure that Mr. Freeze from Batman will be highly interested in the project."
