Yes, the linux "Bottle Rocket" program works with the IBM Home Director kit from www.worthdist.com.
The tk/tcl front end for Bottle Rocket, "Rocket_Launcher", also works fine. I have not had a chance to look at Heyu. But give me a couple of days and I will!
