A Microsoft employee has leaked the official Zune 2 launch date (October 16th) and provided some additional info. The navigation button will be replaced by a "squircle" button which is a square with rounded edges. The photo leaked by Gizmodo is confirmed as legitimate, along with a new "army jeep green" color.

The Zune 2.0 production schedule has been leaked. The flash player is in production and scheduled to complete it's initial run on Aug 31. Meanwhile the hard drive unit is delayed due to problems with the flex cable.
