Comment Could it not be the wasabi? (Score 1) 309

I am American and have no problem eating sushi or seaweed. I have eaten sushi in both the states and in Japan. I am wondering tho, could it be the amount of wasabi used? According to my Japanese father-in-law who is a Sushi chef, wasabi helps kill bacteria that sushi contains.

I bought both LBP and Mirrors Edge, LBP I had been following for a while and actually bought my PS3 because there was a good game besides MGS4. Mirrors Edge on the other hand, I tried the demo after hearing about it from a friend and bought it because I liked it. I would probably not have bought Mirrors Edge had I not played the demo.

Comment DRM isnt the real problem with iTunes music (Score 1) 664

DRM is easy enough to strip off of music from iTunes, but why would you want it anyway. The real problem is that they are charging you for low bitrate crap. I can just go bit torrent or get stuff off of new groups if I wanted to that is ripped at a higher bitrate. And whats the deal with me not being able to re-download stuff that I bought if I deleted it!? They have a record of what you purchased, its a simple database field for crying out loud! I like how the wii does the VC, I pay a decent price for a game, it belongs to me, and I can delete it and re-download it as many times as I want to. Steam/Valve has also done an excellent way of protecting their stuff without screwing over the customer.

Actually in the Japanese version of the game, the manual says in romanized characters (thats english alphabet for those that dont know) it is spelled with a 'th' not an 's'. And this should prove that her name is infact Aerith not Aeris. The issue is the fact that the english translation chose to change the name. This is not an uncommon thing, as we see changes being made to characters names all the times in games (Tina = Terra; Mash = Sabin FFVI), (Vega = M. Bison Street Fighter II) I could go on...
