Completely disable the beta:
Put this in your hosts file!

In your hosts file. Seems to work, not sure how long though...
Here's me hoping that those recorders are accurate!
If they are i would much rather like them telling the story of a crash than multiple seperate arguments from the people in a crash.
I'd want them if and only if they are accurate and verifiable!
But, that's an iffy if...
1. Steal a phone
2. Put it into airplane mode (android and iphone both allow this without unlocking)
3. Spend any time needed to defuse the bricking feature...
They only need the root certificates!
I'm paying the equivalent of about $680 yearly for electricity and heat.

100 Mb/s down 100 Mb/s up 240 GB cap, get over that, same cap, yep internet stops
HOWEVER they do not cap or count domestic traffic, so domestic proxies are a godsend!
This is during a high usage time: http://speedtest.net/result/2502948610.png though i do max 100 Mb/s on torrent all the time, up and down
Which makes this perfect for datacenters...
this.
I've always hated how slow some camera apps are, when i want to take a picture i want it to take the picture the same microsecond i give the command, not 1-3 seconds later...

I do admit it IS a vps, so you'd have to use ssh tunnel or set up the vpn daemon yourself but hey, 500 GB/month...
... enable dhcp (no default gateway)
connect the access point to a openvpn server NOT THE INTERNET
connect the openvpn server to the internet
[access point]---[openvpn server]---([router]---[modem])---[internet]
So it goes like this for you:
you connect to your wi-fi
you authenticate with a certificate to your openvpn server
you use internet
It goes like this for him:
oooh open wi-fi
oooh ip, thanks
ping google.com ERROR
hax somebank.com ERROR
*cry*
Mumble has very good encryption, if the host uses proper keys. Mumble can use the same encryption keys as websites do.
