My observation is simply anecdotal but I have believed for a long time that the drone of the "music" and sounds coming from the machines on the floor is designed to lull you into a semi-hypnotic state to spend more. No science to back it up, just an observation and opinion.

Not true. I have had sleep apnea since I was a scrawny teenager and had fallen asleep a few times while driving when I was younger. Just for a second, but it has happened and I do not have narcolepsy. I guarantee you it affects some more than others when it comes to your wakeful state regardless of the severity. I haven't gotten to that point since I started using a CPAP 20+ years ago but I still get tired.

How long is this rumor going to live? That hasn't been the case for quite a while now. And version 5 is extremely nice! Much faster and much more stable than ever. It's actually at a point where I'd use it daily at work if I could.
