You know when you are running a Windows machine and you do the online update? Do you realise what happens? Micro$oft says that there is no information being uploaded to their site about "your" computer. Well, if government agencies now have the power to, for lack of a better term, take information from ISP's about "your" IP address, could Micro$oft be in on this too and associate your IP address with your entire computer's hardware/software configuration, for said government agencies to "take?"
