An in dash unit without internet access would not be using Google Maps. But you are correct, road closure reports can come from the local municipality. It can also come from users reporting it.

Unfortunately it way easier to report a road closed than to report that it's no longer closed. They should be able to see that cars are using the "closed" road and remove the closure but they don't and roads stay "closed" on the map for long periods of time.

I've barely touch my Xbox. Most of my gaming is on PC (Steam) now. Much better games from all the small studios.

I used the conversion trick 3 years ago so I wasn't even paying $20 per month. But due to that trick going away and the constant price increases and other reasons, I've made sure recurring billing was off on that subscription long ago. It's finally going to expire on the 11th this month.

Are you talking about digital game downloads or games that require you to always be online?

Because the licenses for digital games almost never get revoked. Usually that only happens when a publisher is forced to recall a game.

If you have a license for a digital game, you can still re-download from the respective online store it even if the game gets delisted and is no longer for sale.

Always online games are worse as it affects both digital and physical copies. Especially for single player games that unnecessarily need an online connection to play. When the publisher shuts down the servers, all versions of the game stop working.

I have never had a dryer in my garage. My previous house had a laundry room adjacent to the garage but I'd have to unplug the dryer and use a really long EVSE cord with the door from the house to the garage open slightly all night. New house has the laundry room on the second floor.

Yes it is a thing, but not used for nuclear production of hydrogen. Steam reformation uses 700C–1,000C steam to get hydrogen from a methane source like natural gas.
