Wow, you people just love to complain. If you don't have a cellular phone or aren't willing to receive a text message, and don't know someone who does have a phone and is willing to receive a text message for you, and don't happen to know ANYONE who already has a GMail account, and have no access to the hundreds of web forums where you can find random strangers who are practically begging to give away their invites, then yes, I guess you are pretty screwed. Of course, to read this you would have to pass about 5 posts where people are offering invites. But yeah, go ahead and complain about how unfair it is of Google to make it so difficult for you to sign up for this free service.
