Journal Journal: VoIP dead in 3rd World Countries?
Here in Grenada the only ISP and 'phone company with bandwidth leaving the island (Cable & Wireless Grenada) have installed a sniffer to detect rapid UDP/TCP frames to detect VoIP in use. Quite a few users were on Net2Phone because it cost 4c per minute to the USA, instead of what was $5 per minute a short time ago (this has reduced recently to 99c per minute). The only excuse can be one of being the telco and the ISP and being able to keep tariffs up. Never mind that it costs $250 per month
