Re:I LOVE perl! (Score 1)

I also love Perl. There has never been a task that I haven't been able to complete in Perl - I've written everything from 5 line scripts to 50000 line full featured daemons. Whilst I can also code in C, C++, Java, Visual Basic and PHP, I always end up coming back to Perl. However it's a language that you have to be extremely careful with - I mandate that all of my development team use Perl-Critic to ensure quality code, and Perl-Tidy to ensure a consistent coding style.
