Re:*sigh* MCSE bashing - Who Cares! (Score 1)

For all those guys (and gals) that take any of this MS/MCSE bashing/bigotry personally, I say GET A LIFE! I've been an MCSE for a few years. Even taught a couple hundred people who thought becoming an MCSE was the road to riches. I have also used various Linux distros and even got to play with a few million dollars worth of Sun equipment. When all is said and done who gives a rats ass if MS sucks or if theres anyone on the planet who doesn't like MCSEs. If you're doing what you like to do, whether that be running a pure MS network for meager wages, tinkering on your 486 running Slackware as your firewall to your home network, or milking your goat, if that's what you want to do, do it! I come to Slashdot because there is often up-to-date info about the technology and science world that I don't usually find going to the Yahoo! home page. And what's even better is when I can find some bits of humor that show just how much time people have in their lives to even think or care about what the other guy is doing. Personally, I like Linux. I like some MS products also. I use what gets the job done without me having to waste my time learning another way of doing whatever it is I have to do.

So I say, bash MS, defend Linux, build a Beowulf cluster in your spare time, who cares!

All that matters is that on a normal weekday my commute is all of about 100 feet and I usually don't get out of my pajamas to work. I do what I want when I want to and still manage to pay the bills (which includes a mortgage on a brand new 4 bedroom house). So continue with your religious ramblings. Wake me when it gets interesting. :-)
