This sounds liek a replacement for the most common TCO (Transparent Conductive Layer) ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) which works but is far from ideal.
TCO's are used for conductors on most displays, and their resistance is a limiting factor in a lot of performance issues, so any improvement is welcome. That is, if this proves out to be anything usable and better.
