You seemingly don't realize that this is just a tax on American citizens... There is no "American-made" alternative to most of these components, so it will serve only to raise the prices Americans are forced to pay while the countries of production don't notice a difference.

Essentially. States' rights is what they want when they don't control federal government (e.g. the right to carry on owning slaves); and federal law is what they want when they do control the federal government (e.g. this).

But the software isn't a product. It's just an OS that comes with the computers. It's no different than buying a router and having that company's firmware locked in to use it. As for iOS and unsigned apps... perhaps, but then they would sacrifice device safety, privacy and integrity and you'd lose a ton of functionality (or have to lock out all unsigned apps from being able to access absolutely anything on your device.

Yeah. They really need to be clear that the open bucket, called "abbottgodaddy," also included what the company believes to be business information relating to GoDaddy and Amazon AWS' relationship, including rate negotiations. This information should have been kept confidential. Sloppy reporting not to include that info.
