Journal Journal: Amazing

Alright, so I just got back from an AMAZING concert. Bomberman Awesome (a local Bozo Band), the Briggs, and Throw Rag opened for Flogging Molly. Bomberman Awesome is pretty decent, if they can just kind of shake that High-School Band feelt they have, The Briggs did an awesome opening job, and ThrowRag, well they just suck. The best part of Throw Rag's performance was when they brought Sideshow Bob (this little shit at the uni) up on stage and commented on his BO. Pretty sad.

Journal Journal: Long TIme

Well, it's been a long time since posted last, but oh well. Just got back from Spring Break, and I was not in the mindset to return to School and Work.

Break was pretty good, Got in some work, so I made some money, and I bit the bullet and reinstalled Underlight on my Windows Partition. That game is now the only reason I keep windows around. I really hope someone can Port it, since Lyra Studios is looking for someone to do it. Hell, if I had OpenGL experience, I'd probably try.

There is a MMORPG already available for Linux A Tale in the Desert.

In addition there is a MMORPG company, Lyra Studios, which wants someone to port their game client for Underlight to Linux. Underlight is a pretty cool MMORPG which actually focuses on *gasp* Role-Playing and player interaction. It's pretty cool, and they just need someone with the necessary experience to port it. So, if you are a Game Programmer with experience in DirectX and OpenGL and such, and would like to help out with this, contact Lyra.

Note: I am not a Lyra Employee, I'm just someone who really likes Underlight, and would love to play it under his OS of choice.

Alright, so I just had to register for a new /. account because my password stopped working on the old one, and sure enough I haven't used the e-mail attached to that account in about 2 years. Oh, well.
