I don't think so, even though all that you say it's true Ethereum will not go anywhere. Or do you see it gone in let's say 5-10 years time? Solana is a shit coin, cannot believe it has pumped and gained so much attraction. People really don't care about decentralization at all, I'm not saying go all out but man Solana is an all out centralized blockchain. Offline for almost 24 hours c'mon. I think the best solution is one that incorporates both models, centralized systems with decentralised protocols.
