Johnny Cash Rocks (Score 3, Interesting)

My last purchase was a Johnny Cash album, but before that I was one of the lucky ones to get a Sony rootkit CD (Switchfoot, "Nothing is Sound")! Fortunately, I never trust the software that comes on CDs, and when I put it in the computer I didn't allow the autorun to fire. I still couldn't rip the music though. Then I found a thread posted by one of the band members with instructions on how to get the songs off the CD. Later, Sony removed the thread. I ripped the music, but I was pretty upset about having a DRM cd so I took it back to Walmart. I managed to talk them into letting me swap it for the dual disc which wasn't copy-protected. That's when I decided not to buy any more DRM CDs. It's not worth the hassle, I don't care what band it is.

The Johnny Cash CD was not copy-protected and it rocks!
