This is not ground breaking news. Maine has had a laptop program in existence for no less than 7-8 years. The idea that they are using iPad's is just a matter of choice and bidding between a PC vendor and Apple who makes deals directly. They not only have the iPad's they also get classroom gear such as whiteboards that will transmit what the teachers write on it to the iPad. Each classroom has one and they go for 20k each retail. They also come with a boat load of software packages. I won't get into whether it's worth it or not... I'm not a big believer in public education as it is today...

And to expand on this, in the opposite direction, and expound the lunacy of our legislative systems... Let's blame the planet, because, after all, it has provided the natural resources that allow erythroxylum coca and cannabis to grow, thus allowing it to be processed and sold illegally and as such is contributing to the crime. ps, not a slight on firex726, but a slight on government in making, enforcing and judicizing rediculous laws.

Left a long time ago... I was constantly barraged by addon's that no longer worked... I don't have time to maintain every add-on that a browser needs. It was better than IE, then it wasn't... I have sinced moved on to Chrome. Not that it's awesome, but I can say it's fast.
