We manage some PBX's that have the same problem.... So, I spun up a host that does renewals for the PBXs using rfc2136. Then I just push the certs and keys to to pbx and restart the appropriate services when convenient. This has worked for us for over 5 years.... Not a hard thing to do at all.

We set GPO to block downloading drivers from M$ and get them from the manufacturer instead... Been bit too many times by bad drivers from M$ Update....
