The core of the situation is that UK law specifically requires real estate contracts to be in writing, and signed.
Agreements generally can be entered into by text message, no problem at all. And there's probably a decision somewhere that manually typing in your name at the end of a text message constitutes a signature.
The argument here was that if the messaging app automatically put in a name, then that constituted a signature. A bad argument.

All the others stood away from the wall.

So how come these "threats" are just never spoken about at the same time?
Crisis 1:
Oh no, the population is aging! We will have so many retirees that can't work! There won't be enough working people to perform all the tasks needed!
Crisis 2:
Oh no, we are getting automation! We will have so many robots that can work! There won't be a need for so many working people with all these robots!
99/100 times when people speak about one of these issues, the opposite is nowhere to be seen.

no, no.... "Conservative-led austerity measures" is what NY Times says. Not a bunch of police showing up on people's doors to talk about "non-crime hate incidents".

They're also making the weird assumption that only meat contains protein.
No, I literally wrote "Unless we are talking a truly gigantic amount of vegetables". Most vegetables contain very little protein.
You are also conflating what is the optimal amount of protein with what people die from.
Both kind of snarky, bad oneliners, both dishonest. Hopefully others will treat you in your daily life accordingly.

Okay, so there is no evidence supporting intake BEYOND 1.6 grams per day. That kind of implies from the wording that there is evidence supporting UP TO 1.6 grams per day.
However, the EAT commission recommends 100 grams of red meat per week, about 500 grams meat/fish total: https://eatforum.org/lancet-co...
500 grams of meat contains roughly about 130 grams of protein.
Unless we are talking a truly gigantic amount of vegetables, the headline should be that there is evidence for a benefit to protein intake far higher than EAT recommends.
At the moment, people have to search for the information they need in multiple sources.
In this search, they can come across many different writers, with different points of view, sometimes putting forward uncomfortable truths backed up with evidence.
The future is just a single channel - an AI channel.
And the AI channel will be shaped to support the views of the power.
Of course, the fact that somebody talks about quantum physics without understanding it is not a predictor of whether or not somebody is retarted.
Talking about quantum physics without understanding it is a small but fairly universal part of our culture.
Thank you.
Many things are not great, but also not retarded, something that can do with reminders.

The creator of model X weren't prevented from doing so, but thought it would look bad to submit 20 different variants of their model at the same time. Like submitting Deepseek-v3-0324-1, Deepseek-v3-0324-2, Deepseek-v3-0324-3, Deepseek-v3-0324-4, etc. So they only submitted major revisions.
The creator of model Y were told that they could submit a mass of slightly tweaked models, and just hide all the poorly performing ones. So that's what they did.
