We close on our old house tomorrow! Not sure exactly when or where, our real estate agent isn't doing a very good job of keeping us informed. Once she made the sale she practically dissappeared, not a word.

We also finalized the loan on our new house 5.25% Pretty good rate!

We hadn't been to our new house all last week. We finally went on Friday, wow! They completely bricked the outside. The Mexicans that were doing the work were still there. Mitzi tried her best to thank them in Spanish, they just laughed. I think she said "Thanks from me, much", obviously to them it was very broken Spanish, but I think they got the idea.

Ever since we sold our old house (around the 1st of April) we had been frantically looking for a new house in our price range. We looked in several neighborhoods on the NW side of OKC and Yukon. We found a builder that had a plan that we liked but he said it would be at least 8 months before we would be able to move in (he was that far behind already). We didn't want to wait so we kept looking.

Selling your home is not a fun thing. For the past 8 months we have been prepairing to sell our house. We had to replace the old roof, paint the entire exterior, paint several of the interior walls and replace 15 year old carpet.

We finally got everything done and put it on the market. We got an offer after only 4 days on the market, for $1000 more than we were asking, so we took it.
