Your wonderful logic extends to many places, like in Japan where government officials erased women applicants correct answers to an admission test for medical faculty, to stop them getting in. And you imply women doctors cannot make the top in their fields. Or scientists, or engineers. fantastic. Good luck trying to keep your patriarch and segregated society floating, you have been overrun by at least few generations.

Is it so the women's category is to protect them from the higher intelligence of men? then you may suggest women don't take math degrees or medicine? or you won't accept a female president since you can certainly have a more capable one among men? whatever argument you are trying to prove, it is nonsense to have gender segregation in sports, arts, science. A wise man once said "I don’t like the term ‘woke’ because I hear, ‘Woke, woke, woke.’ It’s just a term they use, half the people can’t even define it, they don’t know what it is.”

Almost all apple iphones (and macbooks) are very fast and responsive at least at the user interface when they are released. My 2011 macbook air is more responsive and loads and shuts faster than my other 2021 M1 macbook air. Sure standard workloads like image/video processing gets faster with newer iterations but the whole user interface getting terrible with each ios/macos upgrade is a shame. Corporation greed scene gets bigger and more crowded with time. It seems time has arrived for older apple tv's to get new tvos upgrades to make them feel slower and not be fun to use anymore. May be the switch from paid to free macos upgrades was completely intentional so people would not say hey we paid for this upgrade and now my macbook sucks.

Besides sharing with the uploader, other viewers could see how many of the other viewers liked versus disliked the content. I thought it was a great idea, that I would quickly skip videos recommended to me but were weakly voted. This may not work for political content -that I usually dont watch- but worked very well for scientific/techical content. Apparently it was not a great idea for Google, that we as viewers acted as a whole and influenced others. Now the recommendation algorithm is the only boss.

The thing to also say it is "Google did not start or develop or create Youtube", it was ad free and google made it flush with annoying ads and started a subscription based service. So you might want to say "if you don't like it you may buy Youtube from Google". And this is why monopolies are bad for consumer.

https://www.pfizer.com/news/pr... NEW YORK & MAINZ, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) and BioNTech SE (Nasdaq: BNTX) today announced the execution of an agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense to meet the U.S. government’s Operation Warp Speed program goal to begin delivering 300 million doses of a vaccine for COVID-19 in 2021. Under the agreement, the U.S. government will receive 100 million doses of BNT162, the COVID-19 vaccine candidate jointly developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, after Pfizer successfully manufactures and obtains approval or emergency use authorization from U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I believe requirement of FDA approval is not unreasonable. I could not reach UK's aggreement, but what kind of wording could it be that they will buy whatever they produce even if it is ineffective and doesn't get approved by health authorities. So Trump's effort in having these vaccines quickly produced is hard to reject. Biden also confirmed this.

I never wondered what the origins were so now it got my attention. The original article is pretty interesting in NY Times the link is here https://www.nytimes.com/2020/1... I liked the crazy look of Dr Conway's Princeton room and his looking into a super retro b/w screen with a giant trackball in front of him, inspecting the game of life structures. He has written he had a computer day at the university. Now we have so called "neural engines" in our iphones, but many are unaware of the computational power of these, yet.
