Greenhouse gases likely accounted for over half of the widespread warmth across the continental United States in 2006, according to a new study. Last year's average temperature was the second highest since recordkeeping began in 1895. The team found that it was very unlikely that the 2006 El Niño played any role, though other natural factors likely contributed to the near-record warmth.

Funny thing is, their own website contains several copyright violations. It seems they pulled their images directly from the Getty Images website — watermark and all — without paying for their use! Clearly their agenda is simply to make using copyrighted materials inconvenient and expensive for everyone but THEMSELVES."

Journal Journal: 10.2...grrr

So I threw 10.2 on my Beige G3 (oldworld) the other night. It's nice, cool, sleek. One problem though; all of my favorite Free programs are missing. So I try to grab gcc....the install won't work. So now I'm stuck with a cool OS that I can't really do much on. Everything wants pather.... However, Gnome did stop working so blowing away linux wasn't the worse thing, I just want to do more stuff with it!!!!
