Journal frankie's Journal: The perfect running mate 3

If somehow Hillary manages to pull a victory, I can't think of a more appropriate symbol of American ingenuity and resolve than: both Hillary and McCain picking Joe Lieberman as their respective running mates. It would be fabulous!

Alternately, we could all just skip past the next 8 months of ugliness straight to President-Elect Obama. Please. Either way would be fine.

p.s. Any thoughts on Obama's running mate? John Edwards? Ron Paul? Arianna Huffington?

      Good call. Aside from some trivial misstatements and his stance on eminent domain, Richardson would be a good running mate. Especially against McCain; Richardson would even up the fight in the southwest and be safe against likely attacks on his birth status.
    • The problem with Bill Richardson, like Wes Clark before him, is that he looks great on paper but does poorly on the campaign trail. I can't see him adding a lot to the ticket, other that he's from the Clinton wing of the party and might help patch up hard feelings there.
