There will be monitors that can display what's passing by the vehicle outside. The point is, without windows, the structural integrity of the car is increased a whole order of magnitude. We could make crash proof boxes for the passengers.

I really don't care if ads and marketing links are tastefully deployed on a site. It's the massive performance hit and the malware that annoys me enough to deploy countermeasures.

Another study just came out showing that increased gun ownership actually lowers the murder rate and lower gun ownership does the opposite. We have multiple points of confirmation and there are a few skeptical politicians that are starting to come around.

The old truism is confirmed. Outlaw guns and only the outlaws will have them.

Does Chicago have a violence problem? Yes. Gun bans are not the solution.

Comment Reasonable cause applies here (Score 1) 248

In response to some of the comments along the lines of "Hey! Maybe we are reacting too harshly!" If there is reasonable cause that any given security system is compromised even a little, the entire thing must be shutdown and repaired. In other words, unlike water plumbing...a little leak is cause for total dismissal of a security system. At this point, it's safe to say the entire internet is suspect. Failure to take this stance is just burying your head in the sand.
