*Yawns* Looking at my Postfix/Dovecot mail server I wonder how this "recall" feature will work. I guess the client MUA introduces this delay feature... which is kind of like Graylisting... for the children who need a supervisory MUA. Hopefully we're out of bolts at this point -- looking around I don't think there isn't much left without a set of training wheels installed.

Not a fan-boi; I run FreeBSD and Linux and don't touch Windows unless I have to. Long story short, I have a Stealth 13.3" with a 1650 MaxQ. I mostly play X-Plane 11 on it, Borderlands 3, and Astroneer. Thermal cooling wise, it works really well. X-Plane 11 is by far the most taxing on the system. Razer's stuff comes without all the stupid bloatware. Yeah, it's Windows, so I RPZ'd off the Windows "telemetry" and VLAN'd off the garbage laptop; if the 31337 h4x0rs want to steal my saved games so let 'em. All in all pretty much 10 of 10 happy with the purchase. More recently I upgraded to the Razer Core X and a 2070 Super. Performance on the eGPU wasn't fan-freaking-tastic like I hoped due to 4 lanes of PCIe but it at least doubled the framerate. Like you, perhaps, I'm often suspicious of "gaming laptops" but honestly my 13.3" Stealth has been really good. BL3 runs on "Ultra" settings. Astroneer never had any issues with the highest settings (minus the experimental graphics). The eGPU works pretty well with X-Plane 11 with everything minus reflection detail tured up to High/Maximum. Hope this helps. Again, not a Razer fan-boi but rarely in my mind does a company produce a product worth the investment so it's easy for me to proclaim my happiness. YMMV and who knows with this one, I don't own it. :)

Comment Re:Starlink is the answer to rural broadband (Score 1) 102

Hi, I'm rural, in the middle of no where. I recently shed two 12/1 Mbit DSL circuits for fiber thanks to RDOF. Up until recently the best I could get before the 12/1Mbit upgrade was 6/768K DSL. Session-based load-balancing doesn't really help with single-session route paths for things like corporate VPN and children learning at home. Starlink, while a good project, does not address much of the Southern US at this time. The situation thus becomes those that must stay home to do distance learning cannot properly educate the future of our nation due to lack of resources. I am now, thanks to RDOF, on 1Gbit symmetric fiber that my ILEC literally pulled one mile of aerial fiber to service FTTH to my home. Not everyone lives in a city and not everyone is in the service path of Starlink. I am happy to see equality being demonstrated by both the prior FCC party and foward-looking the current FCC party. I enjoy being able to discharge firearms on my property in a safe and respectful manner, void against a tree or off the porch when necessary, enjoy the beauty of the night sky, and now more than ever have faster Internet speed/access than those city folks who have paid out of pocket with taxes to ensure I get fast Internet. I hope to see this progression of equality presented to all American citizens continue it really helps unite the nation and tear away from the rural and city divide. I wish nothing but the best for Jessica and I soon hope I see 10Gbit service long before the HOA-stricken city dwellers move past their CLEC-serviced assymetric DSL or Cable.

Regarding "Leave it on dashboard in the sun" one thing to bear in mind is that windshields and windows block UV and UV-C. The sun is a free and nice radiator of UV-C but your windshield is blocking this. This is the same reason that transition eye-glass lenses to not work in a vehicle with the windows rolled up. I mean no insult to you but actually agree, the amount of pseudoscience regarding mask wearing is on par with the antivax crew or those who believe essential oils cure better than actual medicine.
