Your all using fancy windowing systems with nice graphics.
Most commonly used combo's in my lovely MWM windows are
ctrl-c (break)
ctrl-z (when its really really bad) (actually a suspend)
ctrl-insert (paste)
shift-insert (copy)
and
/
to do command search's in my with -o vi optioned shell.
Anything else is just faffy multi-media nonsence :)
