They neither implement nor enforce security. Asking if they are up to job of securing the nation is as relevant as asking âoeIs Congress running the DOJ well?â or âoeIs the President writing effective laws?â

Apple's watch has lacked battery, gps, performance, waterproofing, and a consistent UI. At $500 for 2 years of useful life, no appreciation, and a required $500+ iPhone purchase, the cost greatly exceeds the value. The learning curve and lost features of the OS update didn't help.

That said, not having to reach into my pocket when I don't need a big screen has been hugely rewarding. I can't imagine not having a smartwatch anymore. Notifications, messaging, phone calls, sports scores, workout activities, and media control are all possible even when hands are full.

Can we at least get some props for transcoding all the videos into flash? You can always get the original (even from some other Usenet provider, you cheapskates), but if you just want to see the damn video without having to dork with different codecs or players, you can't beat it.

I saw Final Fantasy digitally projected @ AMC Van Ness in SF last summer. The experience reminded me of watching an old CRT screen with significant separation between the red, green, and blue images. The effect was most noticeable during action sequences and was very distracting. I cannot be certain that the separation resulted from the digital projection process, but I am wary of attending digital projections in the future.
