Changing the terms Master/Slave in computer Science. Changing hiring practices that are taught in business class. The majority of the issues are with the frame surrounding the information, rather than the information itself. There's also the examples used. I've seen linguistics profressors coincedentally choose abortion issues with their political interpretation as an example of how language is used. It silently flies over the heads of people who mindlessly agree. Carving the politics out from the frame around the information takes a lot of time. The people who care about doing that flew the roost a long time ago.

Goldeneye was awesome. They still haven't matched it. Watching bond be broody and mope about Vespa for the 5th time is getting boring. They tried to bring back Brosnan style layered action in Spectre but they couldn't even do that right. Bond is best when he's playing with the big toys fighting Russians and evil geniuses. The Bond's origin story arc has been boring. No Time To Die looks like it's slowly getting the franchise back to kicking ass and taking names again.

Even the best scientists in the word struggle to discover what's objectively true, I'm not going to subjegate my mind to some journalists second best interpretation of the world. Journalism's truth is what language has power and what panguage does not, it has litte to do with fact or objective truth.

The words have meaning beyond whatever happened hundreds of years ago in American history. Erasing the master/slave words is pointless, they will be reinvented by 'polite society' to describe a similar working condition. Hiding the historical meaning of the word is necessary to create a new version of it. The application in tech just goes to show how far reaching the language police will try to extend their reach using whatever they can (including black people's history) to further their goal. Microsoft moved from a billion dollar company to a trillion dollar company before this name change. It has nothing to do with sales or empathy, it's a brazen attempt to refresh the concept for the 'trustable' liberal elite.
