Journal Journal: sleep isn't needed... is it?

five AM has been the average wake-up time for the past five days. The average sleep time was... well... a smaller number. I've never really considered sleep a necessity for me. I mean yeah, of course it's nice. Of course it's all i think about while i inhale my daily coffee intake. But lately this has been getting slightly out of hand. Also, I've been trying to cut back on caffiene, and I'm being very strict about it. So thus far, I've had no coffee since I woke up very early this morning. I'

oi oi oi. a couple weeks ago, i discovered that eating the large amounts of greasy food that i was eating was actually making me sick. i couldn't eat anymore of it, it was really making me sick. so silly me, i decided okay. cut out the doritos and cheesy greasy omelettes, and all that other junk you eat every day, and cut out the caffeine (gasp!). instead, we're going to eat fruits and veggies and pita bread sandwiches. we'll drink lots of water and green tea and stuff, for a healthy little sup

divorce is no fun. my parents were married for.. almost fifteen years before my mom died a couple months ago. shortly after that, i was informed by my dad that both had been previously married. My mom had been married to a guy that I've seen several times, which was weird, and he's a good friend of my dads (which is weirder). My dad was married to a woman for 6 years before they got divorced, and he said the divorce was one of the hardest things he's ever done. What I'm trying to get at is that you can be happy again, and you can make it through the divorce. Hope everything goes well with that, I'll keep you in my prayers. ~amy

i've found that living with a diet consisting of greasy foods, doritos, mountain dew and coffee will at some point make you rather sick. and so now i'm on a diet of salads, pita bread, bagels, and all those healthy foods that we forget about when we eat chocolate. of course, right this second, i'm eating a handful of m+ms. but then, everybody can falter a bit, yes? i ate breakfast. and orange juice. that must count for something! i've ignored my /. journal for too long.
