Cyc will be the "mind" (to use the word very liberally) of Big Brother. In this sense, Cyc is evil. Cyc could be used for good, but I doubt it will be. Given the rumors about the nastiness of the company's management and low salaries, by guess would be that they will take money from whoever will give it to them. From the article, that looks to be the dark side of Government. On the bright side, Cyc is probably not up to the task.
