With windows though, the problem isn't really the TPM. Windows has fine grained group policies, but when it comes to the basic permissions of individual apps, camera, file system, microphone, etc. It's still "Administrator" or nothing.
It's a terrible way to secure anything, because we all know you heed to click accept or the app won't work.
On this one I have to agree with AT&T. I'm not sure why the state of new york thinks they can dictate a free market economy to that extent to be honest. There wasn't really any price gouging going on, customers have a lot of options.
$15 is punitive towards the company. Like what are they going to do with $15? The 5G modem itself costs about $120 from China, for a cheap one. Nokia or other high branded ones are going to cost more. Customer service, infrastructure, the actual data peering. Like what is the government doing to them?
Canada is just full of **** these days. "abysmal environmental standards"?
Huh? China produces more clean energy than anyone, and is installing more of it per day than any other country. They're the only ones that are projected to pass their emissions targets of 2030, in 2025.
Canada? More dirty oil stuck in sand that uses tons *and tons* of fresh water and electricity to get steam it out. They even built another crude oil pipe completed this year.
Dirtiest, over taxed country ever.
I think the FCC should finally get around to mandating Domestic Roaming for this very reason. Cap it as 1-5 Mbps, and no more than 50% of a 12 month billing period...
Also they should mandate that phones attempt other networks for 911 calls. I believe phones were still "registered" to AT&T infrastructure but it wouldn't connect the call.
I got banned for posting a room for rent on facebook market place... I appealed and got a response that the ban was permanent and there is nothing they would do.
I deleted my facebook account that same afternoon.
Yea, don't believe this at all. Your photos were never deleted from iCloud. They just tell you're they're deleted.
They keep all your data forever. This bug essentially just proves that the photos were sync'd back to the phone accidentally.
If you want anything private, don't use an iPhone or Android for that matter. 100% spyware from big tech.
They could have just shut down all the measurement equipment, couldn't they? Or even just shut the whole thing down until the battery reached back to 80% then let it slowly drain without sufficient charge over the days...
1) Eat less overall. Go look at any mouse study and even youtube "How to slow aging and even reverse it" with two mice that are twins!
2) Eat less protein. Your body indirectly to help determine its age.
3) Avoid sources of radiated energy (aka radiation) in all forms, from UV, RF, Gamma, Beta and X-Rays
4) Don't drink or smoke
5) Exercise daily
Given the corporate history of Amazon in relation to how it treats employees, I feel this is more of a "we want to get into shipping this stuff" than anything.
So China is still powered by coal, yes, you heard that coal. 72% of all electricity generated in China is from coal. So next time you think about buying a made in China product, that cell phone charger you forgot, that next iPhone that's virtually the same as your last one, those shoes you could have just cleaned, or that laptop battery you're just going to throw in the trash... Look at what you're doing to your local environment instead.
