Are you sure about that? Europe is seeing the most mosques being built in the past few centuries, and NYC actually has Islamic gangs "keeping the peace"... i.e. fighting the Bloods for turf. Most of northern Africa is Muslim, and Europe likely will be under the sword in 10-15 years due to the Merkel doctrine of vast resettlement of combat age male "refugees" who are winning over the majority in Germany, France, and other countries. Global jihad is at a unprecedented pace, from arsonists causing fires in California and Australia to a new wave of anti-Semitism. Daesh may have been decimated, but their successors and lone wolves abound.

The problem is that as we have more dense populations, the only form of government that is sustainable is the model like North Korea, UAE, or China. Plus, people are wising up to the fact that it isn't a bad thing. There is a saying, "no amount of totalitarianism is too much if it saves one child's life". Yes, this might sound bad, but realistically, it is either that form of government, or living in an anarchistic hellhole where the person "governing" you is the guy with the most weapons, like in Syria, most of Africa, and a lot of South America. It isn't like the UAE is bad... or China. Those are the richest countries in the world. Better than living in Iraq or another country where the person in charge is the guy behind the trigger of the AK.
