MtGox has a good trading API, but you aren't the first to think of this. There are folks who have done this kind of work on Wall Street and are now applying it to Bitcoin markets. This problem is not as easy as it seems, how do you define high and low prices on a financial instrument that is so volatile? The current price($92) would be considered low if you're using a weighted moving average, but most people would tell you you're crazy to buy at this price. If it were as simple as buy low, sell high, the manual traders would be getting rich.

Actually you haven't deal with the issue of efficiency. You are claiming organic is as economically efficient as conventional farming, yet you haven't backed it up with anything except rhetoric.

"The DEA efficiency analysis conducted on different crops indicated that the efficiency levels are lower in organic farming when compared to conventional farming, relative to their production frontiers."

Organic does not mean local! Less than 30% of organic foods in Vermont co-ops comes from regional sources, at the height of the local growing season. If you want to support local farms(at least around here) you should be buying conventional foods.

Silk road uses a tumbler system. Transactions are lumped together and broken up and passed through a bunch of different wallets. The author of the article above doesn't seem to know this. The best law enforcement could prove is that you put some coins into a silk road account.
