yes, if you read of any Connectix's docs you'll see that they emulate an S3 Trio 64 video card, as well as the rest of the hardware.
I have installed RH 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, Mandrake 8.0, 8.2, 9.0, Lycoris (Redmund), Suse 7.2, 7.3, 8.1 with success.
