Since IBM no longer sells AS/400s, this is another flawed comparison. IBM sells a server named i5 (a System i server) - this is the current generation of what used to be an AS/400. The AS/400 is a server that IBM has not sold since 2000, and it does not match the capabilities of today's System i servers. If you make the above comparison to the System i - using the current i5 model, then this comparison rings true.
