My brother and I had a Commodore 64 with a magnetic tape drive. Our main use case was games, of course. A few times, my brother used BASIC to make some drawings on the screen. He is a software developer now. I prefferred playing FRP games of Dragonlance series and basketball games. Adjusting the tape drive for different tapes' speeds was a serious issue.

Comment all DNAs to database (Score 1) 316

I love statistics and from such an enormous database, very interesting scientific data could be fetched. Besides, everybody can break the law. When it is done. police should be able to detect that. Or it may be an accident, and you can be unconscious or dead. If you are worried about intellegence services, they do not need DNA, they can always get you.
