Journal: First Journal Entry

I just built a mini style server using Redhat 8.0 and precompiled Apache with Mysql and PHP support. I thought that I had everything working fine except for one little obscure lib mysql-php module that for some reason wasn't installed. So after about 4 days of troubleshooting (read: hairpulling and cursing) and the invaluable help of a friend, The webserver is handing out pages correctly and I can connect to my database with my php scripts. I sould still consider myself a little below average on my skills for Unix tho. But maybe a little better than a n00b. ;0)
