Edge is actually a remarkably good browser. Sure it's based on Chrome, but it is smarter out of the box and I find myself using it over both Chrome or Firefox when on Windows.
People are going to hate on Microsoft for anything, especially with "Linux" in the same sentence but as someone that uses both - this is something I would use over Firefox or Chrome.
