All I have to say...

is that my head was swimming when I found out Arianna "flipped" sides a few years back. I remember her from the days as the wife of the California gubernatorial candidate Michael Huffington.

What's even more odd than Arianna's changeover from Republican party-platform thumper to neo-leftwinger is the one that her ex underwent: from Republican GOPAC supporter and Congressman to outed and admitted homosexual.

I doesn't get any odder than this; it is as if I woke up in bizzaroworld...

I'm not sure I see her as being a neo-leftwinger; it seems to me that she is espousing a lot of populist positions on things, rather than simply leftward.

Wonderful article. I still stand by that the Iraqi War was a failure in the long run.
