Underlining typos in red, and grammar mistakes in green, is a Good Thing. Auto-correction is a Bad Thing because I've found I spend more time correcting the auto-corrects than I spend being glad it's there. There's nothing wrong with a program having lots of features - the problem is when those features get crammed down your throat.
